Brief Introduction of the Founder and Land & Fund Donor

Mohammad Nurul Alam, commonly known as Alam, was born on 10 December 1977 in a middle-class farming family in Shantipur village, Durgapur Upazila, Netrakona district. He began his early education at the local Maktab. He passed SSC in 1993 from N. Jaria Jhanjair High School in the Science group with First Division, completed HSC in 1995 from Susong Degree College, and obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in 1997 from Purbadhala Degree College. Later, while seeking employment in Dhaka, he completed a Master’s in Political Science from Govt. Titumir College in 2022.

From his student life, he was known for his exceptional intelligence, organizational abilities, and creative talent. Alongside working in various national and international private organizations and multinational companies, he earned several higher professional degrees, including a Commonwealth MBA and Bachelor in Education.

He further completed Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) under the National University of Bangladesh and obtained a Certificate in Animal Health and Production under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board.

Deeply committed to the development of his community, he founded a social development organization named RUSA Bangladesh in 2017 with the aim of supporting the underprivileged people of his region. Following the same vision for education, he established:

• Birishiri Technical School and College

• M. N. Alam Medical Technology Institute

• Durgapur Autism and Disability School

• RUSA Technical Institute

• Juleka Shihab Model Madrasa

In the healthcare sector, he initiated RUSA Healthcare Services and is working to establish the RUSA Eye Hospital (ongoing) as part of an integrated primary healthcare system.

All of these institutions have been established through his hard work, dedication, and visionary leadership, and today they stand as visible examples of his commitment.

He is simultaneously a social worker, education enthusiast, educational entrepreneur, and writer. He remains actively involved in various social and developmental activities.
